Actually today I am meant to be leaving Belfast.

Really enjoyed the ICMC was a good laugh and made a number of interesting contacts. Have enjoyed meeting the big names in a very nerdy way.

I'll take this moment to thanks the University of Huddersfield for funding my trip across to present paper, as without there assistance I would have been unable to attend. Thanks alot guys!!

I right this sitting in Belfast airport awaiting my very delayed flight- argh airports; though they have just given me a food voucher.

Well chuffed to find a BT OpenZone wireless service which I can use thanks to my FON account.

BT Home broad band users can opt into the FON service for free which i would strongly recommend doing.

Anyway hope the plane is sorted soon as I can't wait to get back to S.

A short day for me as I spent much of the day working on some code and composition however the evening concert was quite enjoyable.

Michael Youngs Oboe_prosthesis was very interesting and played incredibly by Chris Redgate. Adam Greig played, Philip Reeders, BY RESPONSE very well illustrating much control over the extended playing techniques in use.

The panel on Network Performance was very informative with a strong understanding of the issues. The first hand experience of remote and tele-presence was informative and will be of use to elements of my own going work.

The MoPhO performance was enjoyable. I particular enjoyed the relationship between the physical gestures and the sonic material.

Wednesday @ ICMC

Today I gave my talk, yay its done. Went well and my demo worked well happy. The online presentation, and more stuff will be online at www.ablelemon.co.uk real soon.

The formal diner was fun, with a pork spit roast and held in the train area of the transport museum which was great.

Performance wise the evenings performances were good and the program contained one of the longest program notes I can recall.

Good day again and another pint of draught Magners.

Yesterdays talks were good however the 10m evening concert was ace, - best so far.

Anna Fritz, RADIO IS EVERYWHERE IN THEIR DREAMS was excellent, compelling and beautiful.

Matthew Yee-King's LIVE CODING was an excellent exploration of live coding with strong gestures and boldness.

Still have to finish presentation :)
