Google Wave was announced today, looks great and really interesting.

Can see this being useful as part of my teaching as well as collaborating on arts projects within inclusive improv.

Enjoyed a great day walking in the Yorkshire Dales with mixed weather and a lot of wind!!

Great route from Hawes to Great Shunner Fell, Hadraw then up along the Pennine Way route and then down into Cotterdale. Great Walk.

Susanna was playing as part of the Durham Alumni Big Band in Stockton at The Georgian Theatre last night and I managed to get onto the balcony.

Still is hard work shooting a big band, never enough light and the light that is available is never even.

This morning my G1 google phone received the over the air cupcake release.

Looks good, loads of subtle design changes and feels a bit quicker.

The big news there is now an on screen keyboard easy to use and with word completion.

Apart from my google chat shortcut breaking everything else looks fine.

Yesterday I went to the Marsden Flickr meetup - had a great time though I had completely the wrong lens on when the heron flew past us.

This was one of my favorite shots from the photo walk.
